Lake Maggoire Day 7 Arona

 Today started off with a rather challenging experience as one us was feeling quite hungover. However, we were determined to make the most of our last day and set out early on a local bus headed towards Arona, a charming small town nestled at the bottom of the lake. As we journeyed on, we were captivated by the awe-inspiring views that surrounded us. 

Once we arrived, we decided to take a leisurely stroll around the town. Although one of us wasn't feeling up to sightseeing, we still managed to enjoy ourselves as we ambled around, taking in the sights and sounds of the local market and shops. We took several breaks to rest and refuel with food and water, which helped us to relax and unwind. Despite the slow start, we ended up having a lovely and peaceful day.




We returned to Baveno and enjoyed delicious seafood pasta in a quaint restaurant on the lakefront. It had started to rain and became quite chilly so we returned to pack our belongings ready for our trip home. I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for the beautiful Lake Maggiore and its charming surroundings.

Lake Maggiore is an amazing lake to visit and one I'm sure we will return to. The Italian Lake has a certain 

 The relaxed atmosphere of the Italian Lakes was a perfect match for our holiday style, and I know we will be back to explore more of this stunning region.
