Singapore 2018. Day 1: The relaxation begins ....

After enjoying a wonderful family vacation to Disney World and moving into a new house last year, my family and I had planned to spend this year renovating our new home. However, after a tough year, we decided that a holiday was much needed. The only problem was deciding on a destination. We were looking for a budget-friendly option in Europe, but nothing seemed to fit the bill.


We wanted a cheap week away in Europe, but as you know nothing goes to plan in the Duff household 😂 We wanted somewhere to just chill. But Asia was calling us back again ...... Singapore seemed like a perfect choice. It's a small country that doesn't require a lot of traveling, and it's perfect for relaxation. We have fond memories of visiting Singapore a decade ago, and we're excited to take our time and enjoy the fantastic weather and food. 

                                     Perfect !!


So today has arrived and we will be flying to Singapore. We have two gorgeous hotels booked. Yes, that’s right TWO. After 25 years of wedded bliss, we still couldn’t agree. All I can say is Chalk and cheese 😂 and I am cheese. There is another reason for justifying our mini break to Europe turning into a dream holiday, it’s our

We were typical Brits abroad this morning, a full English😱.The lounge is stunning so we took a little time to enjoy it. Reading of course. I just love the decor, it feels like it could be home to me. We visited the National gallery of Singapore today. We love art and we love Asia so it seemed like a perfect choice. The gallery was originally the city hall and the Supreme Court. It has now been restored and updated into a stunning gallery,  the new meets old. Not only was the building impressive the art was captivating too. His art was very interesting to us as he returned after a number of years to each place that he had painted and repainted them. Taiwan 2014 Day 2: A day in Taipei

Let me tell you about our adventure-filled day in Taipei! It started with trying to find a place to have breakfast. Taipei is full of quirky cafes but it seemed like they were all hiding from us. After a while, we finally stumbled upon a charming little cafe and got ourselves fueled up for the day ahead.                                                                                      Our first stop was the stunning Lin family mansion and gardens.
